The shaping corners of the tools are positioned at a perpendicular angle to the outer cutting edges. The advantage of this arrangement is that the upper and lower expansion joint areas are cleaned simultaneously and residue-free when the plastic sealants are removed. Therefore, laborious masking or subsequent cleaning of the joint surface is no longer necessary.
