Especially in warm, sunny, and dry locations, grass must cope with difficult conditions. In addition to good growing conditions and regular care, the right seed, which can withstand these extreme stresses, is crucial. The coating of the seed leads to better soil contact, and the seed can be spread particularly easily and evenly using a spreading aid or a spreader. The nutrients and coating substances contained promote seedling development and the green color of the seed – protects against bird damage (more seeds germinate).

How is the soil properly prepared?
In addition to the seed mix and lawn care, the soil is a crucial factor. The more carefully it is prepared, the better the seeds will germinate and the easier it is to maintain. Loosen the soil of the area to be sown with a tiller and remove any stones and plant debris. Then level the area and finely crumble the soil with a rake or cultivator. Allow the soil to settle for 1 week after preparation. When can the "young lawn" be mowed for the first time? Cut your "young" lawn when it has grown between 8 and 10 cm tall. Cut to a height of no less than 5 cm.
