Expert tip: Flexible cables are usually used to connect devices and ceiling lights. The stripped ends must not simply be twisted or soldered in screw connections.
Experience has shown that such connections in lamp terminals or similar can quickly come loose and build up high contact resistance (risk of fire from sparks). Flexible individual wires must therefore be fitted with wire end ferrules, which are then crimped using special wire end ferrule pliers.
The advantages at a glance: Crimping of insulated and uninsulated sleeves, forged jaws for optimal pressing pressure. Universal wire end ferrules.
