The Heavy for Metal cup brush delivers an especially coarse surface finish. This cup brush features knotted wire for particularly intensive cleaning. Ideal for metal and suitable for cleaning work such as removing heavy rust, underbody protection, paint, and varnish from medium to large steel surfaces. Wire brushes are available in various thicknesses for different levels of abrasion. Thicker wire works more intensively and quickly creates surfaces, albeit coarse ones. Thinner wire produces finer, smoother surfaces. It is intended for use with angle grinders with an M14 thread.
