The model is available in four different sizes with floor areas from 6.7 to 11.5 m² and in three colors: anodized aluminum, emerald, or anthracite powder-coated. For glazing, you can choose between approximately 3 mm thick safety glass, crystal clear (ESG), and twin-wall panels (HKP). The twin-wall panels are available in thicknesses of approximately 4 and 6 mm. They are made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate. The glazing of the roof window with HKP is always approximately 4 mm thick. Twin-wall panels offer more advantages and functionality than glass thanks to their superior insulating properties. They are more shatter-resistant and lighter. The slightly milky surface refracts light, so shading is usually unnecessary. Crystal-clear safety glass (ESG) guarantees high light transmission and impresses with its "classic" glass appearance. However, on sunny, hot days, the glass should be shaded to protect the plants from burning. Unlike the clear glass often used in other greenhouses, safety glass does not break sharply, thus ensuring greater safety. The smooth-running, ball-bearing sliding door, measuring 60 cm wide and 175 cm high, can be converted into a double door using a "door extension" on Merkur models with HKP glazing. With clinker glazing, the glass panes are installed overlapping and secured to the profile with glass spring clips. Each model is equipped with two skylights and rain gutters as standard.
