Schellenberg offers various MAXI inlet winders for roller shutter belts with a width of 23 mm (MAXI system). These robust belt winders differ in their hole spacing, dimensions, and winding capacities. All inlet winders feature a pre-tensioned roller shutter belt spool. This makes winding the roller shutter belt easier during installation. The pre-tensioned spool is adjustable, and you can adjust its installation depth yourself. The roller shutter belt spool can be adjusted in depth from 11.5 cm to 13.5 cm.

Tip: Please note the hole spacing when selecting the inlet winder.

Installation instructions

1. Close the roller shutter

2. Remove the old inlet winder.

3. Carefully unwind the roller shutter belt

Caution: There is a risk of injury because the drum is tense.

4. The new inlet winder is pre-tensioned.

5. Insert the roller shutter belt below the belt brake.

6. If necessary, shorten the belt 20 cm below the inlet winder.

7. Fasten the roller shutter belt to the drum.

8. Carefully release the safety device! Pull the drum back until the safety device is released. Press the safety device into the drum using a screwdriver. Hold the drum firmly and let it roll up slowly.

9. Insert the inlet winder into the wall box.

10. Screw the cover plate back on.

Safety note: There is a risk of injury because the drum is tense. Please wear gloves during installation!
