The "fence-scout" tester is a digital voltmeter with a built-in ammeter that displays the existing fence voltage, current strength, and current flow direction. The "fence-scout" guides you to the direction of the short circuit in the electric fence using the current flow direction display and clear directional arrows.
This allows you to quickly find the "leaks" in your fence system. The device has a backlit display and an audible indicator for current on the wire.
For simple and easy handling, the tester works without the use of a grounding rod.
