The STIHL FSA 45 cordless brush cutter is designed for trimming and clearing lawns and edges. With its integrated lithium-ion battery and a weight of just 2.3 kg, fine work on lawn edges and transitions is a breeze. Edging works both horizontally and vertically. This allows you to trim even the finest edges smoothly, giving the lawn and its transitions a clean appearance.

The STIHL FSA 45 grass trimmer offers you considerable flexibility in use, while operating at a noise level that neither strains your own hearing nor that of your neighbors. The 250 mm diameter cutting circle is managed by the PolyCut 2-2 cutting tool. The mowing head features two plastic blades that can be replaced easily and inexpensively. Alternatively, the STIHL FSA 45 can also be operated with a cutting line. An integrated charge level indicator informs you at a glance about the remaining power.

The STIHL FSA 45 grass trimmer features a telescopic shaft that can be adjusted to eight different positions over a length of 170 mm. This ensures that you, the user, are guaranteed to find the ideal working height. The adjustable loop handle and the tilting mowing unit also allow you to set the perfect working angle. It can also be pivoted 90 degrees for precise vertical work. To ensure work is as efficient as possible, the replacement blades for the PolyCut 2-2 can be stored in a special storage compartment. For safe storage, the device has an activation key that must be inserted to activate it.

Telescopic shaft

With a telescopic length of 170 mm in 8 positions, the FSA can be optimally adjusted to the user's body size and ensures ergonomic and energy-saving work. No tools are required for this.

Adjustable bow handle

The bow handle can be adjusted in 6 steps at an angle of 120° without the need for tools.

Adjustable mowing unit

The mowing unit can be tilted in 4 steps at an angle of up to 68°.

Vertical edging

For precise cutting of lawn edges, the mowing unit can be pivoted 90° without the need for tools.

Charge level indicator

The remaining working or charging time can be read at any time at the push of a button. Four LEDs light up or flash green or red to indicate the charge level or malfunctions.

Storage of replacement blades

When worn, the PolyCut blades can be easily replaced. Up to six replacement blades can be easily stored on the device.

Spacer bar

The FSA 45 features a spacer bar for precise and gentle trimming around plants and other objects. It can be folded up or down as needed.

Activation key

The device can only be used with the activation key. When the key is removed, the device is de-energized to prevent accidental operation. The device can be safely stored and transported.

Charging cable

The device draws its power from an integrated 18V lithium-ion battery. It is conveniently charged via the charging cable.

Compact and ergonomic

Thanks to the integrated battery cells, the device is optimally balanced both in the side and head cut. The FSA therefore sits particularly well in the hands. The slim design creates a high degree of freedom of movement.

Quiet operation

The lithium-ion devices are so quiet that hearing protection is not necessary.

Soft grip and suspension eyelet

Thanks to the soft grip with gearshift lock and gearshift lever, the user always has a secure grip on their cordless brush cutter. With the eyelet for wall mounting, the FSA can be stored safely and in a space-saving manner.
