The EnergyFlex MT 40 cordless multi-tool basic unit can be used, depending on the attachment selected, as a hedge trimmer, pole pruner, grass trimmer, or a combination tool consisting of a brush cutter and Trimmer.

Lightweight, handy, and equipped with individually adjustable additional handles or carrying straps on some attachments, the basic unit serves as a useful, effortless helper for the most important tasks in the home garden. Thanks to the quick-change system, attaching the attachments is child's play – and can be done effortlessly even by hobby gardeners without technical expertise.

The MT 40 multi-tool is powered by an EnergyFlex battery, is flexible and mobile without a cable, and operates emission-free, with low noise and vibration.

The MT 40 is the basic device for the GTA 4030 trimmer attachment, BCA 4030 scythe/trimmer attachment, HTA 4045 hedge trimmer attachment and CSA 4020 pole pruner attachment. To achieve an optimal working height, the HTA and CSA attachments come with a 70 cm long shaft tube extension. (Attachments not included)

With its low base weight of just 1 kg, the carrying straps of the HTA and CSA attachments, its slim design, and independent battery operation, the basic unit allows for comfortable use. When operating the unit, there's no cable to get in the way, nor is the weight of a gasoline engine and tank to be lugged along – a significant relief, especially when working overhead. The large working area is also advantageous – with the extension piece, you can reach a working height of 4 m.

Powered by a Li-ion battery from the EnergyFlex family, the basic unit forms the basis for efficient, emission-free, and noise-free cutting, mowing, and trimming. The larger 40 V/5 Ah battery increases the runtime by approximately 1/3 compared to the smaller 4 Ah battery. With maximum runtimes of 30 to 75 minutes, depending on the attachment, targeted cutting, mowing, and trimming work is easily accomplished. Thanks to lithium-ion cells, the battery is long-lasting, low-maintenance, and has no self-discharge/memory effect, making it easy to charge even for non-technical users.
