Use as a cold compress:

Place in the freezer or freezer compartment for approximately 2 hours. The compress is then ready for use. Before applying to the affected area, wrap the compress in a thin cloth. Do not use cold compresses in cases of arterial circulatory disorders or Raynaud's syndrome!

Use as a warm compress:

Place the compress in hot water for approximately 6 minutes or heat it in a microwave at 280 watts for 4 minutes. It is then ready for use.

Wrap it in a thin cloth before applying it to the affected areas.
