Thanks to its stable connection to the trailer hitch, the VeloSpace XT 2 bike rack can be easily installed and adjusted before closing the clamping lever. The extra-long rim straps with ratchet function and the extra-large distance between the wheel mounts allow for easy attachment of solid wheels (wheel width up to 4.7 inches), enabling the transport of fat bikes. The extra-long wheel rails also allow for the transport of large bikes (up to 1300 mm wheelbase).
The easy attachment of bikes is guaranteed by the removable bike holding arms with Thule AcuTight torque limiter knobs that "click" when the optimal torque is reached. The load capacity can be increased to 3 bikes by attaching the Thule VeloSpace XT Bike Adapter. You can also attach the Thule BackSpace XT (936793) to the rack, an all-round cargo box that offers 300 liters of additional, easily accessible storage space.
