Application:

Attach snail protection to the plant containers early, before the first snails appear.

The snail protection must be attached to the plant containers or raised bed early, before the first snails appear. The plant containers must be completely enclosed with the snail protection; there must be no gaps through which the snails can reach the plants to be protected. Measure the required length of snail protection on the plant containers and add an overlap of approximately 2 cm. Attach the snail protection in the middle area of ​​the container or raised bed. Cut the required material from the roll and remove the protective film. Press the snail protection firmly onto the plant pots, creating a seamless barrier. The plant pots should be dry when applying the snail protection. Remove any coarse, loose dirt beforehand so that the tape can adhere well to the surface. Make sure that no plants are hanging over the tape, which the snails could use as a "bridge."

If there is a particularly high snail pressure in adjacent areas or if there are snails in

plant pots or raised beds, it is recommended to combat them with Ferramol snail pellets. This can actively reduce the number of snails. Ferramol contains an iron compound as an active ingredient, which also occurs naturally. Pets and hedgehogs are protected.
