Recycled printhead cartridges:
All cartridges with an integrated nozzle plate - like this product - are only available as refilled or recycled versions. Due to patents, there are no replicas of these cartridges.
Recycled cartridges are fully compatible with the original product and have at least the same, but usually higher, capacity because the cartridges—unlike the original—are completely filled. Empty original cartridges are cleaned, wear parts are replaced, and the cartridge is refilled with quality ink and tested.
Many printers recognize that the cartridge has already been used and immediately indicate it as empty, but continue printing without problems. However, in isolated cases, devices with a fax function have encountered the problem that received faxes from memory cannot be printed using these recycled cartridges, which are recognized as empty—all other functions work perfectly. Since there is currently no solution to the problem described, the owner of such multifunction devices is left with the use of original cartridges, at least temporarily for printing your faxes.
