The WINDKAT chimney cap meets the requirements of the German Fire Protection Ordinance (FeuVO) and DIN standard 18160.
Design:
Installing the WINDKAT is extremely simple. Remove the outlet head, place the mounting plate on the chimney crown, mark the holes, and drill 6 mm diameter holes. Insert the enclosed dowels. Spray the chimney crown with silicone. (We recommend Westfalia Silicone, 310 ml cartridge, heat-resistant up to 300°C, No. 802496, order at the same time.) Place the WINDKAT on the chimney cap and secure it with the enclosed screws.
