You buy floorboards assuming they were dried and seasoned before installation. However, after 6 months of professional installation, a gap of 1 to 2 mm appears between each plank.
How annoying, unfortunately this wood wasn't dry enough. Stop relying on what the packaging says and check the moisture content immediately at the hardware store.
The range of applications is very diverse. Test wood that will be used for furniture, ceiling and wall paneling, window frames, doors, boat or model building. The device is also ideal for testing the moisture content of wood and, for example, screed. The residual moisture content in firewood can be determined!
The two electrodes are simply pressed into the material to be tested, and the moisture value appears as a percentage on the LC display. The additional scale shows the possible moisture classes.
