In combination with our WESTFALIA superglue, you can carry out a wide variety of repairs, such as:
- Adding reinforcements
- Filling holes
- Repairing broken corners and edges
- Repairing torn threads
- Gluing pipes together
- Repairing glass-fiber reinforced plastics and plastic parts (e.g., hulls, hoods, etc.) and Reinforce.
Ideal for bonding and filling cracks, breaks, joints, gaps, and holes, as well as for bridging, reinforcing, modeling, and fastening.
Replaces any filler without the need for time-consuming mixing and long curing times. Waterproof, temperature- and chemical-resistant. Can be machined, sanded, drilled, and painted after curing.
Application: Apply WESTFALIA superglue and filler alternately, in layers (approx. 2 mm at a time). Do not mix! The adhesive reacts immediately with the filler. Ensure the filler is thoroughly saturated with our industrial adhesive. Small bonding joints can be easily reinforced with this application (chemical weld).
Tip: Cover holes and corners to be filled with adhesive tape to form a frame.
1. Before treating with acetone, thoroughly clean the surfaces to be treated and remove any adhesive residue. The bonding areas must fit perfectly, be clean, and free of grease.
2. If you have to work on extremely broken areas, first place waxy paper (e.g., baking paper, PE, PP) under the area. Then fill the break with the granules. Make sure that the fill height does not exceed 2mm.
3. In the third step, soak the granules with the adhesive. This generates heat! Do not inhale fumes and gases. Ventilate the work area sufficiently before, during, and after use.
4. Curing depends on the material. After approximately 15-60 minutes, you can drill, sand, or paint over the material. The adhesive is transparent and flexible, so it can be used for household purposes (shoe soles) or for jewelry. You always have crystal-clear adhesive joints.
